I think it should cost around $5 instead of 10 personally. It is a nice throwback shooter though so if you are into that I think you would find this game worth the price. The gameplay is something I can genuinely call a "Doom clone". You have your faster straferunning, 2.5D engine, an arsenal that resembles Doom's (no SSG tho :( ), a great soundtrack... There's a custom map maker and workshop support but there's hardly any maps on there so I can't really call that a selling point. There's lots of difficulty options, and it runs on just about anything. If you're one of those pansies that complains about hitscanners, there's not any in this. Overall, very worth it for the $3 I got it for.. This is a decent doom clone which seperates itself with it's inventory system where you can use single use powerups that more health or damage. Also included are equippable items which can be extremely overpowered, one such example was when I got one which gave health back on kill when I killed a enemy. The only downside being that you can't pick up health packs while equipped. This itself is easy to circumvent by just unequiping it when you see a health pack. What's interesting though is that jumping requires you to pick up equipable boots. These spawned only on my first out of two playthroughs. Cons of the game are that the movement speed isn't as fast as the other games in it's genre and that the guns and the general art style don't stand out at all. Buy on a sale.. Well made game!
